Food Program Administrator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day management of the Food Finders App, adding daily route instances to the app and, the daily tracking of additional donated items entered into the app. This position will work closely with the Food Acquisitions Coordinators, Partner Agency Coordinators, and Volunteer Coordinator. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

This position requires a strong computer, organization, communication, and phone skills. Must be detailed oriented with the ability to work independently. Two years prior experience in Excel is required.

Duties:

  • Maintain an updated food rescue daily route list in the Food Finders app and weekly routes
  • Collect and record weight report information from volunteers and agencies daily via Food Rescue App
  • Record weights received from non-app volunteers, agencies, and drivers into the app in a timely manner
  • Monitor the app throughout the day to ensure donor rescues are started and completed
  • Create and distribute donor receipts and or monthly reports to donors as needed.
  • Generate internal reports based on data input (daily/monthly/annually)
  • Work with Warehouse associate on entering driver data reports (daily weights, milage)
  • Advise the Director of Operations of any issues with volunteers or agencies with regards to reporting of weights, routes not being picked up, etc.
  • Answer phones and direct callers to an appropriate staff member
  • Keep needed forms stocked such as receipts and documentation sheets
  • Closely monitor volunteers and agencies are using the app correctly
  • Adding available, one-time instances to the app daily
  • Tracking the additional donated items entered by volunteers or agencies and assigning a weight in the app
  • Work closely with the application development team to troubleshoot and resolve any reported problems
  • Greet and assist walk-in food donors
  • Refer callers in need of food to our partnering agencies if, Partner Agency Coordinator is out of the office.
  • Assist the Director of Operations with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and a passion for hunger relief and human services
  • Previous experience in a non-profit environment desired
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving/analytical skill
  • Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical volunteers and agencies
  • Self–motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Commitment and passion for the organization’s mission, our values, and our organizational goals.
  • Understands the workflow and business function related to the app

Donor Engagement Manager

Position Summary:

The Donor Engagement Manager’s primary focus is to identify, cultivate and deepen long-term relationships built on an understanding of donor interests, passions, and values. This role will be responsible for setting the strategy, identifying and soliciting donors, and executing fundraising plans to acquire, retain and grow individual donor support with particular emphasis on outreach to build The Share Table monthly giving program. The Donor Engagement Manager will also be accountable for contributing not only to the department’s goals, but also to the overall Food Finders’ mission, values, and the organizational strategic plans.

This position will work closely with the Marketing/Social Media team and will report directly to the Director of Development.

As a Donor Engagement Manager, you will enrich, embrace and promote our Mission and Core Values in your daily duties and responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the portfolio of all individual donors as you maintain personal contacts and involvement activities for these donors
  • To identify, engage and steward current and prospective donors for annual giving, major giving, monthly giving, and planned to give built on an understanding of donor interests, passion, and values.
  • Leverage and recommend the involvement of the ED, and Board of Directors to initiate and maintain major donors’ and prospective major donors’ relationships
  • Reach or exceed Food Finder’s annual individual giving funding goals and metrics
  • Plan and execute 8 annual fundraising-cultivation-donor appreciation events to include direct mail appeals and online campaigns with peer-to-peer fundraising
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and create needed campaign materials for print, email, and social media
  • Track and report engagement activity using DonorPerfect, create and present reports and analytics about Food Finder’s donors and prospects
  • Ensure a timely and accurate gift entry and acknowledgment process
  • Represent Food Finders at a variety of internal and external events and meetings,
  • Support special events led by the Development Team and related activities and use these opportunities to cultivate current and prospective donors
  • Work with Development Team to create a realistic and attainable budget projection related to individual revenue goals
  • Serve as the Development Team’s fundraising database EXPERT!
  • Foster a culture of philanthropy organization-wide
  • Create reports that accurately reflect portfolio activity and performance
  • Proactively seek professional growth and development opportunities to maintain up-to-date best practices
  • Perform other duties as required
  • This is an ONSITE JOB

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred and a passion for food justice, hunger relief, and human services
  • Previous experience in a non-profit environment is required.
  • Three to Five years of CRM experience is required.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage numerous activities consistently
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Google documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group
  • Valid Driver’s License and insured vehicle
